Death Announcement

CELEBRATE THE LIFE & LEGACY of Gregory Richardson Snr.

SUNRISE: June 15, 1962 - SUNSET: August 18, 2026

With profound gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of our beloved Gregory Richardson Snr. – late of Fayetteville, Atlanta, Georgia, USA, and formerly of 16 Marlie Gardens (Succaba), Old Harbour, St Catherine, Jamaica –  a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished son, a proud grandfather, a treasured brother, and a loyal friend.

Gregory’s life was a testament to the power of love, family, and quiet strength. A man of honor and integrity, he navigated his journey with grace, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. From his roots in the warm community of Old Harbour, St. Catherine, Jamaica, to the life he built first in New York and later in Georgia, he was a pillar of wisdom and a source of unwavering support. His story is not one of an ending, but a legacy that will continue to live on through the family he adored and the countless lives he touched.

Gregory’s spirit lives on in the hearts of his devoted wife, Joan Elaine Richardson; his loving mother, Mrs. Clover R. Richardson; and was preceded in rest by his father, Keith Richardson.

He was the proud and loving father of Gregory Oneil Richardson Jr., Joneil Richardson, Janelle Richardson, and Dr. Janeece Richardson, and the doting grandfather of Karter "King" Richardson.

He is also survived by his siblings: Courtney "Ruddy" Henry, Sharon Baker, Charmaine Richardson, Michelle Pottinger, Nigel Richardson, Richard Richardson Sr., Raymond "Bradley” Richardson, Tricia Richardson, and Tavia Daring. He will be fondly remembered by his aunts: Beverly Wilson, Joy Johnson, Peggy Cabalero, and Hilma Newell, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and cherished friends who became family.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Gregory's remarkable journey.
