Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) has confirmed that motor vehicle registration services are once again fully operational islandwide, following a system disruption that temporarily halted transactions.

The issue, which affected both online and in-person processing, was successfully resolved late Monday afternoon, TAJ announced.

Customers can now complete all motor vehicle-related transactions — including new registrations, renewals, transfers, and registration plate purchases — via the agency's website at www.jamaicatax.gov.jm or at any tax office across the island.

"We thank the public for its patience and understanding during the temporary disruption and sincerely regret any inconvenience caused," TAJ said in a statement.

The agency encouraged customers to use its online platform where possible for faster service delivery.
